I was expecting a book of 100+ pages explaining how to do everything on the Kindle and, maybe, more importantly, what you cannot do. The Author writes much about using the keyboard for Alt+ shortcuts, and other purposes, yet he mentions nothing about how to get to the keyboard. There does not seem to be one visible to the eye on my Paperwhite and there definitely is not a hard keyboard as in an older DX. I wanted to find out how to either lengthen or completely disable the sleep mode, but nothing was mentioned.

For me, when downloading books, reading a book, or doing anything on the Kindle Paperwhite, there is nothing more bothersome or worse than to have the Kindle go to sleep while reading a book, or doing anything on the Kindle than to have it shut down. It's really a pain in the bu~~. This may be the one GREAT weakness of the Kindle; in fact, it should be corrected. But no one at Amazon has an answer for the problem or can state outright that it can or cannot be changed which makes matters worse that the so-called experts on the Kindle have to look every answer up in a book for every answer they give you. And this is another horrible mistake Amazon has made by moving the Kindle experts to the Philippines rather than leaving it in the US. But, that indiscretion is for another day.

Didn't like anything very much. Very little useful info.
The author is a poor writer, on the border of somewhat illiterate.
A glossary would be a great help for a person like me.
This is not simple enough for first-time users. There are no illustrations, no identification or steps to follow to get from one screen to another, and not enough of the KISS principle!
Did not help me at all.
Totally useless! From clumsy wording and improper use of words you can see author has English as a second language, and is not good at it. Content is more confusing than the kindle index itself.
Too general; I wanted a basic how to use type user guide with illustrations in printed form. I need a reference to hold in my hand in addition to the kindle 4th e-edition paperwhite user manuel.
